Anti Criminal Special Operation in Gali is Continuing

Its already a week, since Gali Abkhazian police group of 15 men is conducting operations in the villages of low zone (?). Zemo and Qvemo Barghebi, Sida, Tagiloni, Gagida – these are the villages, where the peaceful population are assaulted and marauded very often. Abkhazian police of Gali, with the head of Otar Turamba, a deputy sheriff of Gali police, arrested several people in these villages.  Tree of them – without any documents or passports. They were released a day later, after ascertaining their personality. As regards the other 5 persons, they are still remaining in Gali preliminary detention setting. It became known, that among the prisoners are Beraia brothers, Nabakevi village residents . Abkhazian side declares, that they are leaders of criminal grouping and  even Georgian law enforcements bodies have complaints against them. Meran Gergaia, the head of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regional police confirmed this fact as well. It’s not clear yet, if Beraia brothers will be given to Georgian side, or if the last one will raise a question at all.
