Court temporarily suspended the sale of the sport ground in Ruisi village
Locals protest the sale of the sport ground in Ruisi village of Kareli municipality. They said the Kareli municipality city hall put the territory of the sport ground up for the auction without informing the village population about it.
Because of murder of Khangoshvili, Germany expelled two diplomats of the Russian Embassy
Germany declared two diplomats working in the Russian Embassy persona non granta and expelled them from the country because of the murder of the Georgian citizen Zelimkhan Khangoshvili. According to Spiegel, both diplomats worked for the Russian intelligence service. 
Health-harming drinking water Lado Bitchashvili, Shida Kartli
Now, laboratory tests also confirmed that the drinking water in Khidistavi village, Gori municipality is harmful for health. Human Rights Center petitioned the state bodies with the request to examine the quality of the drinking water in Khidistavi after several residents of the village complained about the drinking water, which poisoned their underage children. The locals stated that similar incidents have become more frequent in the past year.

Human Rights Center, which was founded on December 10, 1996, has turned 23 years old today. The organization, for 23 years already, Human Rights Center actively reacts on major problems and challenges in the country.

Demonstration to Protest Inaction of the Government of Georgia
On October 19, representatives of the occupation regime renewed installation of the iron fences in Atotsi village, Kareli municipality, where they started installment of poles a year ago. Members of the anti-occupation movement observe the process on the place, who planned to organize peaceful demonstration against the ongoing occupation but it failed. The law enforcement officers did not allow them and journalists to approach Atotsi village. 

Court sentenced underage mother to six-year imprisonment
On September 26, the Gori district court sentenced the accused juvenile mother to 6-year imprisonment for the murder of her 7-month infant. Judge Levan Darbaidze examined the case.

Chorchana-Tsnelisi crisis
Representatives of the Georgian central authority and occupation regime fail to overcome the Chorchana-Tsnelisi crisis despite multiple meetings and negotiations. The crisis originated after the police unit was built in the Georgia-controlled territory that was protested by the de-facto government.

Several facts prove that ongoing personnel changes in the municipality city hall were not the initiative of the mayor Konstantine Tavzarashvili. After Ekaterine Sukhishvili quitted the position of the deputy mayor, the position was vacant for a while. Regardless many questions of the local media, the mayor could not make choice among several candidates. 

The Government of Georgia did not implement the requirement of the occupation regime
After the August 29 meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) failed in Ergneti village, on August 30, the representatives of the GoG and de-facto government of Tskhinvali region was scheduled in Chorchana village, alongside the occupation line in Khashuri municipality. Representative of the Tskhinvali de-facto government Murat Jyoev announced about it.

On August 29, the Georgian side planned to discuss 10 questions in the frame of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meeting in Ergneti. 
100 buses for self-governments
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure purchased 100 buses for the central cities of the regions. Gori municipality will receive 30 out of 100 buses. The Gori municipal assembly already allocated territory to arrange a bus park. The assembly chairman Davit Razmadze said Gori will now have municipal transport.
