Director of Tsnori District Hospital Threatened Gela Mtivlishvili

September 18, 2009

Director of the Tsnori district hospital “Janmrteloba Ltd” Gogi Nikvashvili threatened journalist Gela Mtivlishvili with death.

“I will not forgive it, why do not leave me alone? I am looking for you and wherever I see you, I will kill you,” Nikvashvili threatened the journalist without introducing himself on the phone. The journalist managed to estimate his identity by the phone-number.

Mtivlishvili said it was not first fact of threatening from Nikvashvili’s side. “Short time ago, Gogi Nikvashvili met me at the entrance of the hospital and tried to beat him. He was annoyed by the fact that I spread information about the death of 17-year-old Goderdzi Jankarashvili and a criminal investigation was launched against him. Second investigation on Nikvashvili was launched yesterday. The doctors of the Tsnori Family Medical Center blame him for stealing medical equipment and other materials,” said Mtivlishvili.

Gogi Nikvashvili does not hide his hatred towards Mtivlishvili but does not comment on threatening him.
