On January 27, 2006, the Human Rights Information and Documentation Center (HRIDC) presented its Annual Report on Human Rights - “Next Stop-Belarus?” The report focused on human rights violations in Georgia in 2005, highlighting the tendencies that have developed in Georgia the post 2003 Rose Revolution period. The center concluded that many human rights violations still occur and there has been an escalation of harassment compounded with the syndrome of impunity that further leads the country towards instability and potential disaster.
