Badri Patarkatsishvili: My Point of View is regarded as Blackmail from the Government

Tbilisi, 29.03.06, ‘Media News’ – “Almost everybody knows that TV Company ‘Imedi’ was one of the first media companies, who covered the murder of Sandro Girgvliani. Me myself, and not any other journalist is responsible for the information that was covered by our company, I am responsible for this truth. This caused dissatisfaction of the government. Law enforcers and financial bodies are actively studying my business companies. They try to threaten me and to intimidate journalists of TV Company ‘Imedi’. If I agree with them, II will not be able to look you in your eyes, in the eyes of Girgvliani’s parents, friends and to the whole society. That is why I categorically demand to lie from the name of my company. This point of view was regarded as attempt of blackmail from the government,” declared the president of the Georgian Businessman Federation Badri Patarkatsishvili.

”They are spreading myth that I press the government by means of television, because they do not give me the chance to buy everything. I want to declare that money is not my main aim I just try to make realization of my artistic potential by active motion in business. If not such approach, every country would be the colonies of US,” said Patarkatsishvili.
