Agricultural Institute Students Hold Protest

04.02.06, Tbilisi, ‘Media News’ – Students of the Agricultural Institute held a protest in Tbilisi today. They accuse the guards at the institute of abusing their power and demand they are immediately changed.

According to the students, the guards physically assault the students and often visit girl’s toilets to ‘check’ them.

The Head of the University, Tengiz Urushadze, says they will investigate the case and will respond properly to the students’ demands.

“We have to find out who is guilty. We will investigate the case and punish the guilty people,” says Urushadze.
